A sucessful Business Rates appeal

RAB negotiate a reduction of RV from £17,000 to just £5,100

The Hope Poles Inn
Our client, landlord Mr Peter Cullen of The Hop Poles Inn had a £17,000 Rateable Value. At review, discussion focused on previous payments had been based on inaccurate turnover figures and the fact that Mr Cullen had not been receiving Rural Rate Relief.

We negotiated a terrific result for Mr Cullen, a reduction from £17,000 to just £5,100 we also negotiated to have the rebate backdated to April 1st 2005 (a massive saving of approx £20,000).

Not only did we help to decrease Mr Cullens rates, we also enabled him to treat his wife to a new car!
