Ratings valuations advice

Ratings explained: RAB's experience can help

Rating valuations can often be complex, with many factors to be considered - and that is where the RAB can often help your business.

As your business rates agent we aim to save you time and money. Our clients often liken us to their accountants - providing advice, completing forms and negotiating with all relevant authorities to get the best possible solution.

What happens next?

  1. Free no obligation visit by one of our assessors
  2. We investigate relevant information to try to secure a reduction in rateable value
  3. Information passed to our surveyors to establish all possible grounds for business rates appeal
  4. An appeal will be submitted and discussed with your local valuation office
  5. Within a month of a negotiated reduction your local authority may issue a rebate backdated to 1st April 2010 and a revised bill with your lower business rates value.

Contact RAB today to see how we can increase your profitability.
